Hi, this is Lony here from Fit Futures. Casper, one of my students, asked me a question regarding of carbohydrates. He wanted to know if he needs to take carbohydrates out of his diet to lose weight.

So, my recommendation is; definitely no. Carbohydrates are really, really important for your diet. You’ve got good carbohydrates, and you’ve got bad carbohydrates. But the good ones are the ones that you need to be smart and choose. Those ones are coming from fruit, vegetables and the carbohydrates that are not good for you are the ones that are coming from processed food. So, you’re wanting to make the right decision for your diet.

So, if you want to lose weight, don’t cut carbohydrates. They are really, really good. Just make smart options and choose the best for you.
