Hey guys, it’s Phillipa here from Fit Futures and today I’m going to be talking to you about some benefits of having a more active commute.
I bike to work and I find that it makes me more energetic and happy when I get to work. Some other benefits of biking or walking to work is that it’s also a great way to have some active recovery for your muscles if you’ve just been to the gym. It’s going to pump more blood through your muscles so you can get rid of some more lactic acid and so that you’re ready for your next workout.
Second thing is that it gives you some time to reflect on your day and plan out your goals for what you wanted to achieve at work, and thirdly means that you can listen to some great podcasts on your way to work.
